Geia sas, it was great to do the conversationcourse. The location is a beautiful spot, under the huge pine- treas and with the beautiful view! The lessons from Kóstas were so very nice, I learned a lot. What else? The lovely beaches, the delicious food, the fellow-students, the excursions, and I enjoyed the company of all of you. So I would say:I'm coming again!

I was in Epidavros for the second time last summer to take the language course.
The year before, I had attended Modern Greek group speaking classes but this year I took private speaking lessons. I liked both immensely.
Kostas is a very good teacher. Within a short period of time he teaches you a lot in a friendly atmosphere and, needless to say, in the magnificent surroundings of the Pevkotheatre. Besides classes, there is time to do homework and, fortunately, there is also time to enjoy the village, the Greek way of living and swimming. It is very well possible to go for some outing or other from Epidavros.
In short, there are plenty of reasons for me to return to this place and continue to learn Modern Greek as, sometime, one day, I would love to speak this difficult language without any effort.
Karen, I hope you will continue to offer this course in the same, perfect and pleasant way as you have done up till now.

I was extremely pleased with the Course in Modern Greek Fluency. After the course, I still had two weeks of holiday left so that I could put into practice what I had learnt. I noticed a clear difference right away: In the week preceding the course, most Greeks I talked to tended to turn to English as soon as I had started to speak Greek to them. But in the weeks after the course, they carried on speaking Greek to me!
• I will definitely come back next year. Taking the course means working hard but the surroundings are beautiful, the atmosphere pleasant, the outings are fun and Kostas is a good teacher.

After having taken courses 1 and 2 in 2008, I could very well put into practice what I had learnt while on holiday in Crete. When you tell the Greeks that you have gone to Epidavros, especially in order to learn the language, they will love you forever. Karen, I have learnt a lot and I had a great time. Here are a few key words to describe the theatre holiday in Greece: instructive, fun, pleasant, addicting. Having been at Epidavros once makes you want to come back. In the morning: drama classes, in the afternoon: time off for yourself (apart from learning your lines), off to the beach and at night: lovely Greek food and drink. It is a holiday never to forget, so join in next year and experience for yourself what fun it will be for you.

Even after two months and (unfortunately) being busy again leading our daily lives, we are still enjoying our terrific stay at Epidavros. The photographs of your wonderful site bring back all these memories, not only of the churches, monasteries, the fabulous performances at the theatre, and Mistras, but also the extensive information given by you on Greek mythology as well as on orthodox religion. I will cherish all this for the rest of my life.

Classes in Modern Greek Fluency with Karidies for the second time, so once more at that terrific place in the beautiful, small theatre, accompanied by crickets and enjoying the splendid view. The lessons were fun again as well as the outings, the dinners, and last but not least, a wonderful “Medea” at the large theatre of Epidavros. Just like last year I am in for a repeat so, who can tell, maybe next year again…?
